Blind Date Fun

Thanks to Jim Bettonville '64 for answering our recent call for memories.

He writes "Having just arrived at the University, my Roommate Don Tuck and I didn't know many girls. A Brother set us up with blind dates for a coffee date. We pushed the buzzer and the first girl came down the stairs. She was about Four Feet tall and weighed about 200 pounds. She looked at Don and asked: "Are you Don Tuck?" Laughingly, he pointed to me and said, "No, he is." About that time, the other girl came down the stairs. She was about Six Foot Forty and weighed about 80 pounds. Don said, "I changed my mind. I'm Don." We were laughing so hard. The girls kept laughing and asked giddily, "Is this some sort of joke?" totally unaware of the situation."
